This pure vegetarian group journey covers Gangtok, Pelling and Darjeeling in seven days, with two nights in each and Jain food available throughout. From Gangtok you visit Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, with an optional excursion towards Nathula Pass. The drive to Pelling passes through Namchi for the Samdruptse statue and the Char Dham complex, and Pelling itself offers waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery and the Skywalk. On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you are met and assisted for the drive to Gangtok along the Teesta River. Check in at the hotel in Gangtok. The evening is free to walk along MG Marg and visit the nearby cafés at your own pace.
After breakfast, set out on an excursion to the glacial Tsomgo Lake and visit the revered Baba Mandir. An optional excursion towards Nathula Pass can be made, subject to permits, weather and road conditions, and the Nathula permit charges are not included. Return to Gangtok by evening.
After breakfast, leave Gangtok for Pelling, travelling by way of Namchi. On the way, visit the Samdruptse statue and Siddheshwar Dham, the Char Dham complex, and enjoy the views over the Himalayan valleys. Check in at the hotel in Pelling on arrival.
Spend the day on sightseeing around Pelling. Visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake and the Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, then explore Pemayangtse Monastery. End at the Pelling Skywalk for panoramic views of the Himalaya.
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling through tea gardens and hill roads. Check in at the hotel on arrival. The evening is free for shopping and leisure.
Leave early in the morning for the sunrise at Tiger Hill. Later, visit the Batasia Loop, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, stop for an outside view of a tea garden, and visit the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda. The evening is free at leisure. A packed breakfast may be provided for the early departure, subject to hotel policy.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey, and the tour concludes.
