Overview
The Auli by Helicopter Tour is a short three day trip from Dehradun to the snow slopes of Auli in Chamoli district. After pickup at Dehradun airport or railway station, you are transferred to Sahastradhara helipad and fly about 40 minutes to the Gauchar helibase, then continue by road to Auli with a visit to the Narsingh Temple, the winter seat of Lord Badrinath. A full day in Auli is left free for snow activities, walks through the meadows and the optional trek to Gorson Bugyal, before the return flight to Sahastradhara on Day 03. The package includes return helicopter flights, accommodation in Auli with breakfast and dinner, and all transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.

Arrive at Dehradun airport or railway station, where our representative meets you and transfers you to Sahastradhara helipad.

Around midday the helicopter flies to the Gauchar helibase, with views of snow covered peaks, valleys and rivers on the way. From Gauchar the drive continues to Auli, passing Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. On the way, visit the Narsingh Temple, the winter abode of Lord Badrinath, and then go up to the highest point in Auli for views of the snow covered slopes and surrounding mountains. In the evening, check in to the hotel in Auli for dinner and the overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free to explore Auli at your own pace.

After a relaxed breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the helibase for the return helicopter flight to Sahastradhara helipad.

- All bookings must be made in advance
- A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking
- A further 25% is paid 45 days before the tour starts
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before the tour date
- Payment is accepted only by net banking to our current account
- Rescheduling requests must be made in writing
- Rescheduling more than 30 days before the tour date is free of charge
- Rescheduling 15 to 30 days before the tour date carries a fee of 10% of the total invoice
- No rescheduling is permitted within 15 days of the tour
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing
- Cancelling more than 30 days before the tour date receives a full refund
- Cancelling 15 to 30 days before the tour date carries a cancellation fee of 50%
- No refund is given for cancellations made on or within 15 days of the tour
- If the tour is cancelled because of bad weather, you are offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date
- If flying is cancelled for weather or operational reasons, you can choose alternate road travel at a revised cost or a full refund of the helicopter portion; retention is charged on the road travel and hotel components
- Cancellation fees charged by third party providers such as hotels and transport are deducted from the final refund
- The operator is not liable for extra accommodation, food or transfer costs caused by bad weather, operational restraints, technical snags or other unavoidable circumstances

- The maximum weight is 80 kg per passenger for safety reasons; passengers over the limit may pay extra weight charges as per the aviation company's policy
- Each passenger may carry one bag of up to 5 kg and one personal item, and all baggage must be secured and stowed in the helicopter
- Weapons, explosives, flammable materials, dangerous chemicals, alcohol, drugs and animals are not allowed on the helicopter
- Children under 2 years are not permitted on helicopter tours
- Pregnant women and anyone with a heart condition should consult a doctor before booking
- All passengers must fit safely into the helicopter and wear a seatbelt at all times
- Smoking is prohibited, and passengers should avoid using electronic devices during the flight
