Kailash Door Darshan is an aerial pilgrimage that offers darshan of Mount Kailash from a chartered aircraft. It is designed for senior citizens, families and devotees who wish to receive the blessings of Lord Shiva without the trekking and high altitude walking of the full Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Arrive in Lucknow and join the group for assembly and coordination. A briefing introduces the spiritual journey and the arrangements for the aerial darshan flight, and overnight arrangements are made in Lucknow. The evening is kept for final preparation before the early start.
Transfer to the airport early in the morning and board the chartered flight. Chants and prayers create a devotional atmosphere on board as the aircraft approaches the Himalayan range, and pilgrims witness Mount Kailash from the aircraft windows. After the darshan the flight returns, and the rest of the day is for rest. Flight operations depend on weather and aviation approvals.
After breakfast, departure assistance is provided and you are transferred for your onward journey from Lucknow, bringing the Kailash Door Darshan to a close.

No. The darshan is made from a chartered aircraft, so no trekking or high altitude walking is required. The programme is designed for senior citizens, families, pilgrims with health limitations and devotees unable to undertake high altitude trekking.
A valid original government ID is mandatory for every pilgrim.
The chartered aerial darshan flight, ground transportation, airport transfers, meals as per the itinerary, and coordination, group handling and support. Airfare to and from Lucknow, travel insurance, personal and medical expenses, and any extra stay due to weather are not included.
Flight operations depend on weather and aviation approvals. An additional buffer night caused by weather or operational delays is chargeable, so it is advised to keep your plans flexible and book onward and return flights on a refundable basis.
There is one departure a month from September 2026 to March 2027, each with arrival in Lucknow on the first day, the darshan flight on the second and departure on the third. The February 2027 departure is the Mahashivratri Special, with the flight on 13 February 2027.
